Wind Rain or Shine Beach Volleyball Liability Waiver

BEACH VOLLEYBALL PARTICIPATION WAIVER

  1. Acknowledgement of Risks I understand that beach volleyball is a physically demanding sport. I acknowledge that participation involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Physical Injury: Sprains, fractures, concussions, or ligament tears.

  • Environmental Hazards: Heatstroke, dehydration, sunburn, and contact with sand (including hidden debris or uneven surfaces).

  • Equipment/Facilities: Collisions with net posts, boundaries, other equipment associated with Wind Rain or Shine, or collisions other players.

2. Assumption of Risk I voluntarily assume all responsibility for any risks of injury, property damage, or death that may result from my participation, whether caused by the negligence of the organisers or otherwise.

3. Release and Waiver of Liability I hereby release, waive, and discharge Wind Rain or Shine, its instructors, and employees from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action related to any injury or damage I may sustain while participating. This release applies even if the injury is caused by the ordinary negligence of the parties being released.

4. Medical Fitness I certify that I am in good physical health and have no medical conditions that would prevent me from safely participating. I authorise the organisers to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary.

5. Governing Law This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State/Province of Toronto, Ontario  Canada.
